Saturday Day Retreat on August 25th, 2018:
Join me on a hike along the East Sooke Coast Trail on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 – you can anticipate lots of fresh air, yoga posture & meditation practice, beautiful views, wonderful cardiovascular exercise, yummy food & great company!!
If you have not been out to East Sooke Park before, not to worry, you are welcome to follow me there and if you do not have a vehicle, we will have carpool spaces available. Once we have hiked to our first look out point, I will lead you in a standing stretching break, followed by water, snacks & a photo break – the view is always amazing!
Next we will hike to another gorgeous look out point where we will complete a yoga asana & meditation practice by the ocean. There will also be frequent opportunities to observe birds and sea animals in their natural environment. We often spot seals, eagles, whales, jelly fish, vultures, sea gulls, cormorants, blue herons, kingfisher’s and oyster pickers, among others.
Our practice will be followed by lunch time – you are welcome to sign up for my quinoa salad (delicious, nutritious, vegetarian option with homemade dressing & greens from my garden – lunch that you don’t have to pack yourself plus a few yummy snacks – dried fruit, nuts etc.) or bring your own lunch.

My labradoodle Daisy enjoys coming along on the Yoga Hikes – she is always ready for an adventure, a cuddle or a nap as you can see 🙂
